February 2019 Market Update
We take a look at the Palm Beach County housing market in our Market Update for the Sua Team! There are 2,230 "Just Listed", 8,269 "Active" listings, that's 200 more listing compared to January, and 1,682 homes that are "Under Contract"! This means that only 20.3% of homes are under contract, giving the buyer plenty of inventory to choose from!
In January of 2019, there were a total of 1,098 homes sold in Palm Beach County. The number of sold homes went down from February of 2018 at a rate of 9.8% and the average DOM (days on market) is 61 days. The average DOM has increased from 2018, meaning that homes are selling at a slower rate.
Our supply is 5.8 months which is considered a balanced market, meaning that there is enough demand from buyers to equal the supplies from sellers. But we are seeing that we are slowly moving into a buyers market.
